Celebration of the Horse is a big undertaking and we are still looking for volunteers for the weekend.

If you can share a few hours over the weekend, we will be asking you to help man the information booth or be a parade spotter or .....who knows what. We need you though so give us a call or email and let us know if you can help. (Saturday, Sept. 27 and/or Sunday, Sept. 28)

If you know of any young person who is considering veterinary medicine as a potential career....send them to Equine Gatherings for our program Thursday, August 21 at 6 p.m.

Blue Water Equine Hospital is "sharing" two of their interns with us for our Talk to the Pro Night. Dr. Ryback and Dr. Rosenberg (Michigan State and Cornell) will be here to talk about vet school and answer any questions you may have!

We still have a little room in our business expo tent for Celebration of the Horse. If you are part of any horse related business, you are going to want to consider this opportunity to market yourself. Celebration is scheduled for the fourth weekend in September (27 and 28). Hours are 9-5 on Saturday and 9-4 on Sunday. The Business Expo tent will be right next to the entertainment tent and the pony rides so you should get a ton of traffic! An investment of $100 for the weekend should bring you big returns. If you can't commit to the time to man a booth, consider an ad in the program. Your ad will be exposed to several thousand people who will take the program home with them and continue to have access to your information. Absolute latest date to get your ad in is August 25th. Don't miss this opportunity.

Program re-scheduled

Tonight's (Thursday, July 31) program has been re-scheduled to August 7....But....come to Metamora anyway! Visit us at Equine Gatherings and then walk next door with your blanket, lawn chairs and appetite (slow-cooked Bar-b-que chicken, ice cream, snow cones) and listen to music under the stars. Tonights performers call themselves Eilerson. I'll see you there after the store closes at 8:00!

She will guide us through a brief breathing exercise and meditation (in a chair) and we’ll have time for discussion and Q/A. Come and learn hoe yoga can benefit equestrians

Thursday July 31, 6-8 pm IPZV Trainer C, Alexandra Pregitzer has been rescheduled...see below. Tonight would be a great night to come to Metamora for one of our Concerts in the Park (1/2 a block away from Equine Gatherings....) Tonight's band is "Eilersen". Bring lawn chairs or a blanket, look for the ice cream, pop-corn and barbequed chicken!
