Position Title:  Summer Camp Equestrian Positions

Do you love working with kids and horses?  Come work at one of the best Resident camps this summer!  YMCA Storer Camps is currently hiring for our summer camp equestrian program.  Apply early and lock in your spot!
Do you want to be a general camp counselor leading a wide variety of horse related outdoor activities with kids of all ages?  Do you want to work in one of our barns for the summer?  Are you proficient in English and/or Western riding styles?  Can you teach campers how to jump with their horses?  Are you an experienced trail guide or have experience working with beginning riders?  Apply now to work this summer at YMCA Storer Camps in our equestrian program and give our campers an experience they will never forget helping us to build relationships that last a lifetime!

The following positions are available as "working boarder" or "working student" positions:

1. Assist cleaning stalls Saturdays in the mornings. Takes about 3 - 3 1/2 hours. Previous experience preferred.

2. Afternoon helper (weekdays or weekends) to fill water buckets, bring in horses, clean tack and feed horses  dinner. 4:30 - 6pm. Combination of at least 2 days - Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and Saturday afternoons. Must have previous experience handling horses and have reliable transportation.

We are seeking a qualified Equestrian Director to join us in providing a

Seeking professional to lead riding program. Responsible for development
and management of an equestrian program and facilities that meet the needs
of the Council. Supervision of safe, educational and fun riding program
and related educational classes and activities.. Center features indoor and
outdoor rings, indoor/outdoor classroom, and farm animal program. Position
responsible for all components of equine-related operations including the
care of the horses, upkeep of the riding facilities, and oversight of all
riding programs. This requires face-to-face leadership in these programs
and may involve early morning, evening, and weekend responsibilities.
Current riding instructor certification required. Must have a working
knowledge of CHA and ACA standards. Housing is provided. Applicants who
